This page describes what happens to your information when you visit this site or buy the Remodel Decision Kit. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
Who is responsible
Homeowner Playbooks is the controller of the personal data described here. You can reach a human at info@norphis.it, and that address is also how you exercise every right listed further down.
What we collect, and why
When you buy
Your email address, your name if you give one, your country and the payment details you enter. The card itself is handled by Stripe and never reaches our servers. We use this to take the payment, to deliver your files, to answer you if you write, and to keep the records a business has to keep. The legal basis is the performance of our contract with you, and for the records, our legal obligation.
When you visit
Our host records the usual server information: the pages requested, the time, the browser and a truncated network address. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the site up and secure.
When you allow measurement
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, nothing is measured until you press Allow. If you press Allow, the Meta Pixel sets cookies in your browser and we also send the same events from our server to Meta through its Conversions API, including a one way encrypted form of your email address where we have it. The purpose is to know which advertisements lead to purchases. The legal basis is your consent, and you can take it back at any time by writing to us.
The cookies this site can set
| Cookie | Set by | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| hp_consent | Us | Remembers your answer to the measurement question. | 12 months |
| _fbp, _fbc | Meta | Identifies the browser and the advertisement you clicked, so a purchase can be matched to it. Only set after you allow measurement. | Up to 90 days |
| Stripe cookies | Stripe | Fraud prevention on the payment page. | Set by Stripe on its own pages |
Who else sees your data
Stripe, to take the payment. Vercel, which hosts the site. Meta, only if you allowed measurement. Each of them is a processor or an independent controller in its own right, and each publishes its own privacy terms. We do not sell your data, we do not rent it, and we do not share it with anybody else.
Where your data goes
These providers operate in the United States as well as in Europe, so your data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area. Those transfers rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision, depending on the provider.
How long we keep it
Order records for as long as the law requires us to keep accounting records, and then no longer. Support emails for two years. Measurement data for as long as Meta retains it under its own terms, which is currently up to two years for events.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict what we do with it, object to it, or ask for it in a portable form. Where we rely on consent you can withdraw it, and withdrawing it does not undo what was lawful before. Write to info@norphis.it and we will answer within thirty days. If we get it wrong you can complain to your national data protection authority.
Children
This is a product for people planning building work on a home. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this page changes we change the date at the top. Material changes to how we use your data will be announced on the site before they take effect.
